Going Places
FavoritesFoxnews.com - Awhile back I had this link as CNN because I liked the way CNN had more legitimate news than Fox. Well, since then the roles have reversed and Fox News is my news site of choice. Along with a few others.
BlueLetterBible.com - Being a Bible college student, I find this website very helpful when it comes to writing papers. They've got numerous commentaries, studies and several handy tools for doing research. Because I can't fit that many books into my house.
International News
JPost.com - A well-written, English, Israeli Newspaper.
France24.com - French News in English. Also has a large amount of international news.
BBC.co.uk - The British Broadcast Company, largely European news but with extensive coverage of the United Kingdom.
Independent.ie - Irish news straight from Dublin
Jeep
JeepForum.com - The first Jeep forum I joined up with when I bought my jeep. I'm Tovinney and I've never posted anything but it's still a pretty interesting site if you're looking for information. Which I am.
Resources
HTMLGoodies.com - This site is awesome when you need a tutorial. The explanations are easy to understand and pretty much everything I've tried from there has worked out. The only thing that never worked for me was a slide show script but I improvised and so it wasn't that big of a deal.
DynamicDrive.com - The go-to place for when you need an effects script. They've got scripts for everything from games, countdowns and calendars to fading images, guestbooks and slideshows. Definitely worth a look, even if you're just browsing.
PHPfreaks.com - While my PHP is still non-existent at best, this site has proved invaluable for their scripts and tutorials. Hard to understand sometimes, especially considering I'm a beginner, but handy just the same.
BlueRobot.com - The site where I obtained (and then mutilated) the layout for otterfiles.com. It isn't updated any more but it still has several CSS layouts that are free to use and easy to implement.
LissaExplains.com - I used this site when I first started out with HTML many, many years ago. Designed for younger teens, it explains with easy examples how to get the effect you are looking for. I still go there sometimes when I've forgotten how to do something. -grins-
CSScreator.com - It looks like a nice site and I do enjoy the forums, but the CSS layout creator they say they have doesn't work for me. I don't know what's wrong with it. But, if you can get it to work, it seems like it would be a good tool to have.
Hotscripts.com - Haven't used this site all that much but what I have used was nice. Tons of scripts here for just about anything you need to do.
TigerDirect.com - Great place to buy all sorts of computer related articles. If you're looking for something, come here first. (Or second.) They also sell refurbished items which are substantially cheaper than their brand new counterparts.
ThinkGeek.com - Read about this in a U.S. Airways magazine on my way home for Christmas. It's HILARIOUS. I like the wi-fi t-shirt. Go check it out. Buy something.
HacknMod.com - Sweet, sweet site about all sorts of hacks (the term being used in the 'making it do what I want, definition, not breaking into something) to do with networks, computers, cars, lasers, iPods...pretty much anything you could possibly want. It's really, really, really awesome.
Other
ProvidenceBaptistMinistries.com - The website I constructed for Providence Baptist Ministries in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico where I attend school. The first website other than my own that I am completely responsible for.
TheLacombeFamily.com - Yay! The Lacombe Family website! They are missionaries out of our church going to Thailand. Check out their sweet guestbook! I may just commandeer something like that for OtterFiles. ^^
DenimSkirts.com - My favorite place to buy skirts online. Of all the skirts I wear right now, all but two of them are from this site. They're expensive, but you're paying for quality. A few of the skirts I've bought from this site are still wearable after two years of owning them. (They don't fit me any more, but I could still wear them.)
MexicanOrphanage.org - The site for the orphanage down in Sonora, Providence Baptist Homes, which is run by Markie and Christy Bullock.
Accounts
Tovinney@Sheezyart - My SheezyArt account which, for those of you who don't know, is a place for people to post their art, in my case, photography. This will take you directly to my account where you can view my recent shots.
OtterFiles - Original Blog - Where it all started! It isn't updated any more but I keep the archives up out of sentimentality.
